Thought We were Pretty Stupid, Didn't You?

The GOP realizes it's in deep shit at The New Hampshire primary

So Hillary Clinton gained a slight advance over Barak Obama in The New Hampshire primary last night. Not a terribly large leap mind you, I think it was two or three points at the end of the tally, but still - She finally found her war footing.

I was a bit relieved to see this, because I always thought she had the potential to be a leader of the American people but she never seemed to figure out where she stood on anything. Look at the statements she's been making this past year, and the interviews she gave as well...It's almost like she didn't want to tip her hand, although that's exactly what she SHOULD have done, you ask me. See, I hear it all the time: "I'm voting Republican, because that's what I've always done". "Well, I'm voting Democrat, because my grandpappy told me to!"

Look, anyone who chooses a candidate before they know where said candidate stands on the issues is a FUCKING MORON. It's like buying a car based on the color, not your needs and affordability range. We are this year closing out the era of what that kind of thinking brings about. People walking up and screaming "9-11!!" in your ears aren't looking for a solution, they want submission. They want you to STOP THINKING.

Unfortunately for them, we've had just enough of our civil liberties yanked to put up with that shit now. The next person who waves 9-11 in my face is going to find themselves flattened with the latest body count from our useless (and pointless) war. And my fist. But mostly the body count.

(Aside note to Michelle Malkin: The butcher's bill for the Iraqi war has WAAAYY passed the 9-11 bodycount. Try spinning that you Republican mama-san.)

I love watching the Republitard blogs at times like this, though. It's refreshing to see them whining about "fair play" and pointing their plastic fingers at Democrats while foretelling doom as soon as they're sworn in. As the election draws closer, I predict they'll need a megaphone to be heard from the distance they accrue as they trail further behind. None of them were within a 10 point mark of the Democratic candidates last night, and they got a hellishly slow start to begin with.

For my part, I'm still with Obama. I think he's got the goods, and although Hillary would be my second choice, Barak is meeting everything head-on. He doesn't have that political stink on him, and his articulation is clear. I don't agree with everything he says, but he's the only one who is taking a stand & sticking with it.

Urgh, Hillary makes me wanna cram a kerambit in my eye.

She is doing a very respectable job of hiding her religious wackjob warhawk self behind a campaign friendly fascade, but it still shows through the cracks if you watch.

I admit Obama interests me more as I listen to him.

Still not happy with anyone, but I am watching.

For pure entertainment, electing Dennis Kucinich would be the way to go. Government would not know what to do with itself. :)

All I know is if she wins the presidency that will mean a Bush or a Clinton has controlled that office for at least 24 years...Same old shit different skivvies that's about it. It is time for change and IMHO Senator Obama is it!
