Books and DVD's

I have been inundated with requests for the private training DVD's I made for a couple of distance students, as well as the book I'm writing on Martial Arts. I'm going to set the record straight, here and now.

1: DVD's

I'm not going to be able to film until my back is better. I WILL make a set of DVD's and they will contain my drills, Jurus and fighting concepts. But I want to do them after I get my spine fixed and return to 100%...So it won't be until next year, earliest.

2: Martial Arts book.

Yes, I am still writing this. It is going to cover most of the Southeast Asian Martial Arts, as well as advanced teaching methods, theories, weapon use, etc. I have quite a bit of material gathered and most of the format is complete.

HAVING SAID THAT: I will NOT publish a damn thing until I think it's ready. There are a million martial art books on the shelf of any Barnes and Noble today, and in my opinion they all look the same no matter which one you pick up. I want to produce something that is not only worth the money, but that is frequently pulled from the shelf for reference and you can still get something from it years after purchase. I might be setting the bar a bit high there, but that's how I treat everything else in life, and so far it's served me well.

The point is, I won't just crank something out.

Hello sir, not sure how you will handle these (if they're are only for your students) but if you would be willing to sell a few put me down for one. Standing by, take your time, Vicente

Hello Bobbe, I'm also interested in attending if you do a seminar in Seattle after your back gets better. Thanks Anthony

My apologies for not including your title. Thank You Anthony

Hi Anthony, thanks for the post. Shoot me your email address to Bobbe@emaa.us and I'll keep you informed with weather, news, sports and my seminar-after-surgery dates.

My title? Which one are you referring to?

Anthony, just call me Bobbe. Whatever titles I have, they never give me a break in my mortgage. Ergo, they hold no real value.

Plus, if you call me something like "Sifu", my students will never let me live it down...
