I'm trying so hard, I have so much OTHER shit to do - but I can't stop gawking at the Republican boat sinking, gaining momentum, as the captain and crew cling desperately to the wheelhouse hoping that, somehow, the ship will magically stop sinking, right itself, and sail triumphantly into New York harbor, feted by the adoring populace.
Trump set himself up to lose by his own bidding and appears absolutely befuddled as to how he did it. He's gone from from literally making laws to keep people from voting, to saying 'certain' people's votes don’t count. He caught himself in his own snare, then chewed off the wrong leg. If the phrase "shooting yourself in the foot/dick/head" was a literal thing, Trump would have to change his name to Stump.
Or just "Lump".
This is the man you people gave access to the nuclear launch codes. This is the man you chose over your God. You loved him so much, because he exemplified everything you believed in. You saw yourself in him, and you desperately wanted a White man in the White House again. You loved him so much, you openly wept when you realized it wasn't the 1950's after all, and Black people really do matter.
That one must have really hurt, considering how desperately you all wanted the faggots back in the closet, the women back in the kitchen, and the ni**ers back in chains.
I can't help but wonder...how many people who died of Covid-19 would have cast a ballot for him? The ones he so thoughtlessly die through his ministry of mis-information. Would they have tipped the scales in his favor, had they lived? All the people he alienated, fired, intimidated, outright fucked over...how much of a difference did those people make when it came time to stand up and be counted? Would Biden still have won, if Trump played his cards just a little bit smarter, a fraction better than he did. If he showed even a modicum of kindness, of humanity. Of simply giving two shits about the country he supposedly led?
(By "country", what I mean here is "Everyone who lives in North America", not "Only the White People in North America". It's disgusting to me that I have to clarify that in this day and age.)
I'm still watching, because I'm admittedly getting a perverse glee watching you all thrash about in the water, pushing your narrative on only each other, that; "everything's fine", and "It's the Liberal's fault!". Some of you have drowned already, you went under back in 2016, and you were never going to resurface. You'll die before you join the 21st century. Your grandpappy fought against the Union, and by gawd, you'll never surrender!
This is a fitting end to your regime. Not going down in flames, but drowning in your own bile. You didn't learn anything from the past 4 years, and I don't hold out any hopes for you to suddenly grow a tumor of empathy on your cancerous moral compass.
