Alas, the way politics works, there will be payback. Everybody will bandy the term "non-partisan" around and smile for the cameras, all bonhomme, but you can book it, the D's remember all the years of the R's sneering at them and saying, "Oh, yeah? Do something about it."

Watch and read between the lines -- it's happening even as we speak.
